How payment is taken

Payments at ESSILRO are processed by Shopify Payments. The methods available to you are shown at checkout and in the footer of every page. What appears there reflects the methods genuinely enabled on the store, and may vary with your device, browser, location and currency. Digital wallets in particular depend on the device you are using.

All prices are shown in pounds sterling. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you place your order, and the total you will pay is shown before you confirm.

Card details

We do not see or store your full card number. Card details are captured and processed directly by our payment provider within Shopify's secure checkout, which is certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.

Payment may be subject to additional authentication by your bank, such as a one-time code or an approval in your banking app. That is a requirement of your card issuer, not of ESSILRO.

Connection security

essilro.com is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection throughout, including checkout.

Your statement

The descriptor that appears on your bank or card statement is set by the payment provider. Where it is available to us, it will be shown before you complete payment. Our outer packaging carries no product names or intimate descriptions.

Keeping your account safe

If you create an account, use a strong and unique password and keep your login details to yourself. We will never ask you for your password, your full card number or a one-time authentication code, by email, by message, or through our contact form. Please do not send payment details to us in any message.
